I was recently evaluated for custom lasik surgery with a very reputable doctor and was told that I do qualify as a candidate, however, there would be a chance that I would require an enhancement in approx. 6 months. due to my high degree of astigmatism. My prescription is approx. -5.00 miopia with a -5 (regular) astigmatism in both eyes. I have spoken to many people who have had very successful results with this surgery, but none that have had even close to my prescription. I am interested to know if there is anyone on these boards that may have a similar prescription to mine and has had custom lasik (star 4) surgery? If so, what were your results? Thank you.
