i had the lasix done a year ago in January. i had the mono vision done. i had worn contacts with monovision for over four years and loved it. so when i went for the lasik this was what i wanted. my age is 52 when i had it done. i was discharged from the practice because i wrote a letter about them scheduling people at the same time, example my appt was at 7:30 and they had five people schedule at same time and depending where your name was on the list when signing in that's how they took you. i scheduled for that time so i could be to work on time and would you believe it i never got out that office until after nine.
back to monovision , i have had a hard time with reading things up close, faw away vision fantastic. i also developed dry eyes never had it before. now there are telling me i need to be on eye drops called can't remember the name but they were going to cost me more than glasses or contacts. i haven't found a new doc yet but i use over the counter eye drops and cheater glasses for reading up close. I'm still glad that i have had the lasik done and i love monovision for the most part.
