Questions About Lasik Price Range

Jenny asks…

price range of lasik hair removal?

admin answers:

I've done it a few times (for underarms)... About $300 per treatment.. It takes about 3-5 treatments for hair to being permanently gone..

But for other parts of the body price differs, just both underarms alone cost $300... The legs were about $1200 and other parts of the body would be other prices.

I don't recommend getting it though...
First you go in, thinking it will be almost painless and after a treatment or two it will be gone forever... No.

You go in, get numbing cream for about a half hour
then they put the lazer machine against your skin and it HURTS a lot, like little rubber bands plucking against your skin multiple times until it feels raw

You have to go a minimum 3 times to get the permanent result, and you have to go with your hair cycle, otherwise you are screwed and have to get more treatments.

Waxing is a lot easier and less painful compared to laser treatment.

Maria asks…

What is the price range ?

For getting Lasik done ?? I don't have anything like asigmatism or anything like that so I would like to get Lasik done . Please give me a price range for getting it done.
Thanks!

admin answers:

The average cost per eye is around $1500 to $2050. It is a pricey procedure.

Linda asks…

Lasik vs Intralasik, can you please tell me the pros and cons for each procedure?

Hell and thanks for taking some time to read my question.

I have been wondering if I should have the Lasik or Intralasik performed in my eyes. If you can tell me what the risks are for each procedure as well as their benefits and a price range if it possible. I don't have any major health issues and I consider myself in good health.

Any advice will really help me to make this decision.

Thanks again

admin answers:

Well, if it were ME, I would ask the surgeon what would be best for my situation, my tear layer, my corneal thickness. What are the differences in results with people that have had both done with my same sort of refractive error. There are too mnay variables to make a real educated decision from what you have told me. You really do not get to make the final decision on your own. Your Doctor needs to make that decision with you considering all the information that is yours alone. IT is not like picking the color of a shirt you are buying. Ask your doctor these questions and make sure you can get the best Doctor you can find. These are EYES, not hubcaps!

Mary asks…

Some LASIK questions?

After reading the LASIK question on the home page, it reminded me of my dream to get it. I want to know some stuff.

1. What are the price ranges for LASIK surgery?

2. Do I really have to wear shades or goggles after they're done fixing my eyes?

3. Does my improved vision wear off over time and require me to have the surgery done again?

Thanks!

admin answers:

1) It's very variable; Start around $1400/eye

2) at least for a while. The biggest headache is is amount of drops you have to use.

3) It's possible that over years, your vision will change, but that's just getting older.

John asks…

how much is to get lasik eye surgery in new jersey?

i want to kno the price range

admin answers:

Don't get lasik eye surgery it doesn't fix your eyes but creates a new one and it just isn't good believe me
even my optometrist says it bad but hey its your eyes just do one eye at a time this way if the mess up they don't ruin both your eyes
your eyes are your most precious and important thing you see the world through them
